Hello and welcome to NSCC's INET 1000 Information Technology Program. In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge required to design and author a basic World Wide Web page. You will learn how to:
- Create basic web pages using HTML tags.
- Use Dreamweaver as a web authoring tool to laying out a web page.
- Create a file management system to keep all HTML and related documents organized.
- Use cascading style sheets to layout your website.
- Create forms for on-line client response.
- Use Photoshop to create images for your website.
- Upload and publicize your HTML documents and supporting files to a host server.
- Recognize the difference between good and bad design of a website.
As your instructor, I will
- Encourage hands-on practice.
